This Biedermeier secretary comes from Austria and was made in 19th century. It is made of coniferous wood, veneered with cherrywood. It has undergone a professional renovation process. Surface finished with black shellac polish applied by hand with a pad to a high gloss with pores obliterated, which apart from excellent visual effect protects and cares for the wood. Interior veneered with cherrywood and walnut. All of the drawers are lockable with keys. It is a truly distinctive piece of furniture from the Biedermeier period. The upper part unfolds easily into a writing top revealing a section with multiple practical compartments. Slender tapered legs give it lightness and elegance.
