We are pleased to offer for sale a chest of drawers from the Biedermeier period. The furniture comes from France and its time of construction is estimated between 1830-1850. The structure was made of coniferous wood and the whole veneered with walnut veneer. The furniture has undergone restoration process in our workshop during which we have repaired structural elements, filled in defects and fixed the locks. The surface is finished with shellac polish applied by hand with a pad, which apart from its excellent visual effect protects and cares for the wood. The chest is in very good condition, fully functional, ready to use.
Elegant, aesthetic and at the same time free from excessive decorativeness or monumentality. These antiques, being the original decoration of home interiors, are also a perfect investment of capital.
