A beautifully proportioned 19th-century German chest of drawers, veneered in walnut and representing the classic Biedermeier style.

Professionally restored in our workshop with full respect for the original craftsmanship. The surface has been hand-finished using the traditional French polish (shellac) technique, giving the piece a warm, satin sheen that highlights the natural depth and grain of the walnut veneer.

The chest stands on refined, gently tapered legs, creating a light and timeless silhouette. It retains its original locks, carefully cleaned and fully functional, while the escutcheons have been expertly replaced with new period-style fittings consistent with the original design.

All drawers are immaculately clean and ready for everyday use. A fine example of 19th-century German cabinetmaking — elegant, authentic, and timeless, perfectly suited to both classic and contemporary interiors.
